I am currently an ARC QEII Fellow in the Department of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at the University of Melbourne (Australia). I am also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics, University of Hawai'i at Mà„noa. I am the project manager of PARADISEC and the EthnoER project. In 2009 I was the chair of the 1st International Conference on Language Documentation and Conservation.
